This color is called Jabba Snot, no joke.

Mx. 11 is my partner's family and we are very fortunate they live nearby.  They reached out one day to let me know their bike had been stolen, and asked if a bog-standard-off-the-peg bike was a good buy.  Never one to let an opportunity to build a set a wheels pass me by, I suggested I could build them a bike for the price of the of the commercial offering. They agreed an I set off on building them a stout city bike with the MoonMan touch.  This was the first frame I powdercoated myself.  The green with the subtle gold flake comes alive in the sun, and is named, "Jabba Snot."  Perfect for the nerd in me and Mx. 11.  The design was otherwise kept subtle with satin and gloss blacks with the aim of keeping it stealthy in the various bike racks it will find itself as it runs errands throughout town.   Tire width was maximized for a comfortable ride and flat bars were opted for to support the upright position that the owner feels comfortable with.

There were lessons learned during this build to be sure, but it largely met the vision.  Moreover, I was super excited to repay Mx. 11's constant kindness and support with a unique object, just for them.

Lesson: Measure the steerer length as soon as you get the frameset, lest the seller sold you a steerer too short for the headtube.
